293/PTH2/CRE-Luc Stable Cell Line
The parathyroid hormone receptor 2 (PTH2R) is strongly coupled to stimulation of cAMP accumulation, and weakly to increases in intracellular calcium concentration in a cell-specific manner perception. PTH2 is found in the greatest volume in the nervous system and at a very low density in the kidney and bone. Recent work suggests that PTHR2 may be functionally involved in pituitary and pancreatic hormone release and pain perception.
